Learn beautiful songs of love, work, play, spirit and freedom -- just for your pleasure. I'll teach beautiful harmony songs from African, Celtic, Jazz, French, Bossa Nova, Balkan, Latin, German, Hebrew, Elizabethan and Spanish traditions. Nourish yourself with the sweet, safe and precious energy of group-singing. Meet new singing friends. Together, we’ll lift our voices in the ecstasy of harmony. The haunting harmonies and complex rhythms of these songs will lift your spirits and make you swoon. No musical experience necessary.

Tuesday evenings, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. $100 for the six weeks.

Kay Eskenazi offers day-long and weekend-long rounds singing classes and workshops all over the United States! Learn gorgeous French, Brazilian, Elizabethan, African, Macedonian, Jazz,  Appalachian, German, Latin, Hebrew, Spanish and North American rounds and harmony-songs – traditional and contemporary. These songs about love, play, justice and spirit will set your heart on fire and give your spirit wings! Best of all: they will form the core of a beautiful common repertoire that you can use to start a song circle in your town.

Kay Eskenazi began collecting rounds in 1987. She is the Executive Director of Pass It Around! and author of  Pass It Around!: Rounds from the Soul of a World (songbook) Kay also co-directs From Women's Hearts and Hands Guitar Camp and teaches guitar in the Bay Area.
